It is compatible with CAT5E, CAT6 and other patch panels. The dimensions are: height 3.5 inches; width 19 inches and depth 6 inches. The holes on the left are fine however the holes on the right did not have any threads and the screws that came with the package did not work. Thus we had to get thicker screws to connect the holes on the right
