Product works fine. Might be improved by making it with the female end inside the adapter. No reason to have it exposed and probably subjects it to breakage. But otherwise, for the price, its fine and a very handy adapter to have if you have several devices, some with mini and some with micro USB,

One of the connectors has the 'plastic' or 'insulation' missing from the 'back' side. It is that way in the package - A production quality control or production inspection problem.
