Product Description This 1 foot Cat6a Black Slim Ethernet Patch Cable is perfect for installations that are in a tight-spot, and require a thinner cable than the typical thick Cat6a cable.

Category 6a is the best 10 Gigabit copper Ethernet cable available. The 500 Mhz performance is double that of Category 6 and five times the bandwidth capacity of Category 5e. The extra performance is ideal for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications where data loss can be seen and heard.

Be aware that the length is from the outermost ends of the connectors - i.e. the ENTIRE length is 1 foot exactly -- the cable length as measured from the innermost ends of the connectors is only 8 inches long. This made it unsuitable for my particular application. I purchased 6 of these in various lengths and colors - the quality for all of them is excellent. I purchased an extra 3-foot just in case the 1-foot wouldn't work - so, all's good and everything got connected. Just be aware to subtract 3 inches from any length and if 3 inches is a make or break measurement for you, then order the next length up! These cables really are slim - about 1/2 the diameter of a typical Cat5e cable - and flexible and I rated them all a '5' - except for the 1-foot. Those 3 inches may not seem important, but it made the difference in my particular application.
