Shielded Cat6a Field Terminable Plug, Solid/Stranded, Black

Product Description Our Cat6a field termination plugs are designed for a variety of applications within Ethernet networking. They feature shielding, a punch-down style termination that supports both solid and stranded cable, and a clamshell style housing with threaded collar to ensure a solid fit even on cabling with a large outside diameter. Works with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) applications. This shielded cat6a connector has a black-colored plastic on the connector.

Cat6a cable can be difficult to terminate for a variety of reasons such as larger overall diameter(OD), tighter twist restrictions, and less flexibility due to larger gauge conductors. Our field RJ45 8P8C plug unit allows technicians and installers to quickly and efficiently terminate solid or stranded Cat6a cable in the field.
Simply insert the cable through the boot. Use the copper foil tape around the ground wire. Insert the 8 wires into the wire manager in the corresponding slots and trim the excess. Insert the wire manager into the housing. Close the housing and twist into the collar.
