I got the wrong adapter, it has the same sign as my Mac, so I don't know, I'm confused
CableWholesale Response: Depending on how old or how new your Mac is, will depend on the display output connection. Mac has a few different options. 1. Mini DVI, 2. Mini Display port, 3. thunder bolt (Looks like a mini Display. Uses a different firmware). Figure out which connection you have and you can return this item.

We've bought about 10 of these and never had a problem.

All four of these mDVI-VGA adapters work fine. We've never had a problem with these.

Great alternative to the name brands that are way overpriced.

This adapter works fine with white MacBooks. They fit tight on the mini-DVI end and work well all our VGA cables. Apple used to supply VGA adapters with their laptops but newer MacBooks don't come with them. The newest aluminum MacBooks use mini DisplayPort so we stock those too.
