Poor RG59 metal braid shielding is sparser with fewer strands. This makes a significant difference in quality, and is likely to exhibit image interference problems. A Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) center core on RG59 cables can decrease signal quality. Fewer strands of wire or CCA on the power lines causes a reduction in conductive quality and a greater increase in voltage as well as generating extra heat that can become a dangerous fire hazard.
