Works as expected. Able to re-use 80-pin SCA hot swap drives in an older server with 68-pin & separate molex. Adapter snugly fits drive and 68-pin cable, however there is nothing there to physically hold on but friction. Depending upon chassis, vibrations, etc. I do see it potentially coming loose in future.
