15 foot Female Orange Booted EZ Pull Audio/Video Runner Cable, Plenum/CMP

This 15 foot Orange booted EZ Pull cable is designed for a range of audio/video applications, including composite, component, and RGBHV video, as well as analog and S/PDIF digital audio. The EZ Pull system is color coded, so this part should only be used with other EZ Pull parts that are designated as orange.

This specific EZ Pull cable is composed of five 28 AWG (American Wire Gauge) coaxial cables with spiral shield, surrounded by an overall mylar foil shield, a copper braid with 85% coverage and a Plenum rated black PVC jacket (CMP rating). A protective cap, featuring a pulling eye with a maximum pulling tension of 30 pounds, is included with the cable.

EZ Pull is a color-coded modular cabling system designed to simplify the deployment of long cable runs utilizing 3/4 inch conduit. It is as simple as identifying your application, its needs (distance and signal type) and matching up the colors of the various components.

The Plenum is the area between floors or above office areas for heating/cooling airflow. If an office were to catch fire, this plenum area could easily allow the spread of the fire to more floors or across the entire building. Plenum rated cables are jacketed with a fire-retardant plastic jacket of either a low-smoke polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or a fluorinated ethylene polymer (FEP) for less toxicity during a fire.
