These red female spades are designed for use with an equivalent male for wires of the following gauges(AWG): 16, 18, 20 and 22. Insulated connectors offer a nylon cowling/jacket that protects the terminal from accidental shorting. They connect two wires while supplying a quick and simple disconnect option. One uses this quick disconnect terminal by inserting the bare wire end into the terminals flared end and then crimping.
