CAT5E bulk cable such as this pullbox are used to wire houses for ethernet. Many new homes built today have bulk ethernet cable built into the walls. Our bulk networking cable is standard CAT5E with 4 twisted pairs. Each of the 8 conductors is pure copper in our cables. Some cheaper cables are copper clad steal and not of the same quality. CAT5E cable is rated for up to 100 MHz frequencies. It supports up to 1000 mbps in transmission speeds, commonly referred to as gigabit ethernet.
