The DVI cable is one of the more versatile connections used for video from a computer to a monitor. DVI does not carry audio, but it can handle digital or analog signals depending on the capability of the computer and monitor being used. We offer DVI-D cables, DVI-I cables, DVI dual link for high resolutions, and most other DVI standards. If your computer has a DVI-I output and your monitor has a VGA input, you can use our DVI-A to VGA cable. If your computer only has a DVI-D output while your monitor has a VGA input, you will not be able to use a simple cable. You would need a DVI-D to VGA converter box for this connection. If you are using a long length DVI cable with poor results, try our DVI splitter to improve the signal strength. For short DVI cables that you need to add an extra length on to, a DVI-I coupler will make the connection you need. Sometimes a computer monitor just isn't big enough, and you want to connect your DVI equipped computer to the HDMI input on your HDTV. In this instance, our DVI to HDMI cable will provide a beautiful picture without the audio. For audio options, refer to your HDTV owner's manual.
